My flowers name is the Iceland Poppy. The scientific name is Papaver  Nudicaule, and the scientific classification for this flower is Papaveraceae. The flower blooms in May through July. The flower lives in the northern parts of the United States and can be planted in Texas. The petals colors are cream,orange,white,and yellow. The height of the flower is one to two feet tall. The type of soil needs to be well drained soil in full sun. The flower likes shade more than it does heat.I got all the information at wildflowers in bloom.

I learned how to do long divison and how to use a protracter.I struggled with the Reading STAAR and with music.Things that surpised me was it had rained on feild day all the shirts we got were play 60 shirts.Things that disappoint me that we had to take the STAAR and all the work  we did.

In our reading class me have been reading two books . One is Paradise Called Texas and Willow Creek Home .The main characters are Mina,Papa,Mama,and Lisette . Papa and his family wanted to move to Texas so they can have new land and a house to live in  and a new life.They moved to Texas then mom died on the beach one rainy day from pneaumonia and others died too.Next they moved to New Braunfels.They lived there for a short time so they could get the land they came for.They got their land and moved to Fredericksburg  and started school.One day the Comanches tried to steal Mina’s horse and one got shoot  in the shoulder.Then Mina got kidnapped by Comanches.Read book for more info.My favorite part was when Mina was kidnapped by Comanches.Its because there was so much action.

Today I learned that a hot air balloon fire is made with flame and propane.The balloon has a certain  amount  of weight it can hold.The top of the balloon has a vent to let out hot air to land. The air balloon can’t be turned it can only be rotated.The hot air balloon can use 30 gallons of propane in an hour and a half .

We  should all conserve water to help the Earth. Water is very valuable. Without water we would not be alive . Try doing these simple step to use water properly.

The first step to save water is take a five minute shower instead of a bath.If you take a shower instead of a bath it will save about gallons. A minute shower is seven  gallons of  H2O. Next, collect water in a rain tub to save H2O. You can water your pets with it. You can also clean your floor in the house. Finally flush the toilet one less each day. If everyone in the United States flushes the toilet one less time it could make a lake. One flush is five gallons don’t flush the toilet to get ride of  bugs and gold fish you can through them outside

You should think of ways to save water! The people in the future will need water!

A girl lost  her dogs on the ice.When she was looking for her dogs she saw a igloo and went in. she saw soup on the table and ate it. She went in the next room and got boots. Then she went in  the bedroom and went to sleep.
